President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc-Musar in Akorda held talks in expanded format , El.kz reports via Akorda.

Welcoming the Slovenian delegation, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that Kazakhstan is aimed at developing multifaceted cooperation with Slovenia, calling it "a time-tested reliable partner in Europe."

"Your visit to Astana is very important for us. We had a constructive conversation on topical international issues, reaffirming our common interest in achieving concrete results. Kazakhstan will do everything necessary to develop our cooperation and create favorable conditions for Slovenian business," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

The President of Kazakhstan also noted the importance of the Kazakh-Slovenian business forum, which is taking place in Astana and is aimed at strengthening business and investment ties.

President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc-Musar thanked the Kazakh side for the warm welcome and stressed that economic cooperation between the two countries has great prospects for further growth.

"Our visit is designed to strengthen economic ties, which are developing dynamically. Trade is growing every year, and the volume of Slovenian investments has reached $200 million," Natasha Pirc-Musar emphasized.

During the talks, the parties discussed the development of partnerships in the field of investment, trade, transport, logistics, digitalization and artificial intelligence, as well as healthcare, tourism and the extraction of critical minerals.
