Kazakhstan and Poland to create platform for sharing healthcare experience

Health Minister of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova held a meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Poland in Kazakhstan Michal Labenda.

The sides discussed the issues of further strengthening partnership in the medical field, exchange of experience and technologies, as well as improving the healthcare system of both countries were discussed, El.kz reports citing the press service of the department.

Kazakhstan and Poland already have successful experience of cooperation in the field of medicine. Cooperation in such areas as the pharmaceutical industry, medical education and advanced training of personnel has made it possible to achieve significant positive results.

Akmaral Alnazarova stressed that Kazakhstan is interested in further expanding cooperation with Polish medical universities, noting the successful implementation of joint educational and scientific initiatives.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the development of sanatorium-resort treatment, the improvement of transplantology, the digitalization of healthcare, and the strengthening of the health insurance system.

The Polish diplomat expressed support for Kazakhstan's initiatives, noting the high potential for the implementation of new joint projects.

In order to strengthen bilateral cooperation, Kazakhstan proposed to develop an Interdepartmental Agreement between Kazakhstan and Poland in 2025. This document will make it possible to systematically develop medical cooperation, simplify the exchange of technologies and improve the quality of medical services in both countries.
