Kazakhstan and Pakistan intend to strengthen cooperation in transport and logistics sector
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Privatization, Communications, and Investment, Abdul Aleem Khan, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters related to strengthening and diversifying transportation and logistics routes connecting Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
The discussion highlighted the strategic importance of cooperation in this sector and emphasized the need to enhance collaboration through the Joint Working Group on Transport and Regional Connectivity.
In this context, the parties reviewed plans for 2025 and expressed mutual interest in implementing practical measures to develop trade routes between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, including strengthening the transit potential of both countries.
