Kazakhstan and Israel discuss innovations in water treatment
Kanat Sharlapayev held a working meeting with representatives of the Israeli company BlueGen Ltd. The meeting discussed the modernization of wastewater treatment and processing systems, as well as the development of modern technologies for desalination and water conservation in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports citing the press service of the department.
During the meeting, the topic of updating the outdated communal infrastructure, which requires reconstruction and the introduction of advanced technologies, was considered. Particular attention was paid to innovative methods of wastewater treatment and the development of efficient desalination systems, which is especially relevant in the context of growing demand for high-quality water resources and the need to improve the energy efficiency of public utilities.
The Minister stressed the importance of forming mechanisms for cooperation between the public sector and private business to attract the necessary financial resources and implement strategic projects.
Representatives of BlueGen Ltd. expressed their readiness for further cooperation and exchange of experience. Among the participants of the meeting were the company's CEOs Leehu Hacohen and Kfir Nahum, Vice President for Business Development Liad Sivan, Director for Business Development Harel Rauch, as well as Managing Chairman of Radium LLP Yosef Neustadt-Milstein.
It was noted that the successful implementation of the proposed technologies will make a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's infrastructure, improve the quality of utilities and reduce the environmental burden.
