The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Austria have signed intergovernmental agreements on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports and on the readmission of individuals with illegal residence, El.kz cites Kazakh FM.
On behalf of Kazakhstan, the documents were signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs Yerzhan Sadenov, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Bakaev. The Austrian side was represented at the ceremony by the Ambassador of Austria to Kazakhstan Andrea Bacher.
The concluded agreements expand the legal framework between Kazakhstan and Austria, contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation, facilitate official visits, and enhance interaction in the field of migration policy.
This step reflects the high level of mutual trust between the two states and their commitment to further developing partnership relations in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
