Kazakh universities enter QS world ranking

Kazakhstan is strengthening its position in the global educational space due to the participation of universities in prestigious world rankings and the introduction of innovative programs,El.kz reports with reference to the Government of Kazakhstan.

The international QS World University Rankings (QS WUR) included 21 Kazakhstani universities, which confirms the growing competitiveness of domestic higher education.

Kazakhstani universities implement about 245 programs, including double-degree programs. 29 universities took part in this ranking, of which 4 were included in the list of the best. Funds are allocated annually to attract 200 foreign scientists. More than 8 thousand programs are included in the register, 57% of them have been updated.

Academies have been established at 40 universities to provide Huawei certified courses. 350 teachers from 22 universities were trained in blockchain technologies.

93 universities have gained access to online courses. 152 courses have been translated into Kazakh and Russian, another 4 thousand courses have been adapted using machine translation.

These initiatives are aimed at improving the quality of education and preparing students for the challenges of the modern world.
