Kazakh startup TrustMe enters top 10 innovative projects in Silicon Valley

TrustMe, a fintech startup developed in Kazakhstan, is recognized as one of the most promising projects in Silicon Valley and has attracted investments from the Tim Draper Foundation, El.kz reports with reference to the Government of Kazakhstan.
TrustMe is an innovative platform designed to increase trust in the digital environment. It allows you to conclude legally significant contracts in just a few seconds using SMS, instant messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram, eGov mobile) and biometric verification. Documents signed through TrustMe are encrypted and stored on the blockchain, which eliminates the possibility of their forgery.
Over the three years of operation, the platform has been chosen by more than 2,000 companies in Kazakhstan and 200 companies in Uzbekistan. The number of TrustMe users exceeded 850,000 people, and the total number of signed documents exceeded 1 million. The system significantly reduces bureaucratic processes and reduces the burden on legal proceedings.
The startup plans to enter the markets of Russia, Turkey, the United States and the Persian Gulf countries. In the long term, the company intends to become the first unicorn from Kazakhstan – a startup with a market valuation of more than $1 billion.
