Kazakh specialists trained in China and US

The first group of Kazakh specialists in the field of water resources has completed training courses in China and the United States, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
30 employees completed a two-week training in China, and another group completed a one-month program in America. All events were organized within the framework of international agreements, while funds from the state budget of Kazakhstan were not used.
Internships are organized to improve the professional level of specialists and study the world's best practices in water resources management. Upon returning, the specialists met with the leadership of the Ministry of Water Resources, where they discussed the ways of introducing new knowledge into Kazakhstani practice.
Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Aslan Abdraimov stressed the importance of programs for adapting to the challenges of the time:
By the end of 2025, it is planned to send three more groups of Kazakh specialists to China. At the same time, negotiations are underway with other countries to organize similar programs.
As part of the visit to the United States, Kazakhstanis participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program, where they studied the water management system, approaches to sustainable water distribution and digital tools in this area.
