Kazakh scientific journal to be published on world's largest platform Elsevier
For the first time in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the CIS countries, the scientific journal "Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials" will be published on the Digital Commons Elsevier platform.
Elsevier is one of the largest scientific publishers in the world, issuing about a quarter of all articles from scientific journals published in the world, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials has been published by the Eurasian National University since 2017 in English. All articles of the scientific journal are also included in the international scientific database Scopus. It contains materials on the results of scientific research in the field of nuclear physics, high-energy physics, alternative and hydrogen energy, etc.
The international editorial board of the journal includes scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA, France, Japan, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Uzbekistan, England, as well as world-class scientific organizations such as CERN and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
"Elsevier approached us with a proposal to include the journal in the database and be ready to publish an electronic version. The publication of the Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials on the Elsevier platform opens up new prospects for the development of not only the journal, but also the entire scientific community of Kazakhstan. This is a recognition of the international level of quality of scientific research conducted at ENU and in Kazakhstan," - said the editor-in-chief of the journal, Director of Eurasian Institute of Physical Energy Research and high Technologies of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Kairat Kuterbekov.
