Kazakh schoolchildren win 4 medals at 2024 International Geography Olympiad in Dublin
At the International Geography Olympiad IGeO-2024, which was held in Dublin, Ireland, Kazakh schoolchildren showed excellent results and added four more medals to the country's piggy bank,El.kz reports. This year, about 200 students from 50 countries took part in the competition.
Our team demonstrated a 100% result, winning one silver and three bronze medals:
Akzhol Bolat (silver) – 11th grade student of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Nazarbayev Intellectual school in Taldykorgan;
Zhomart Sabyr (bronze) – 11th grade student of the Daryn specialized boarding school for gifted children in the Zhambyl region;
Arsen Sydykov (bronze) – 11th grade student Nazarbayev Intellectual school of chemistry and biology in Shymkent;
Kanat Serikbay (bronze) is a student of the 11th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of chemistry and biology in Shymkent.
