Kazakh schoolchildren to compete at International Mathematical Olympiad in Kosovo

The 14th EGMO takes place in Kosova, from 11 April to 17 April 2025. 240 participants from 60 countries participate at the exhibition. Kazakhstan is represented by four schoolchildren, El.kz reports citing Enlightenment Ministry of Kazakhstan.
– Arai Kassenova, 11th grade student of the Haileybury Almaty British School
– Yulia Katunina, 10th grade student of the No8 School Lyceum for Gifted Children
– Anar Didarbekova and Aruzhan Kairat, students of the 11th grade of No.39 Specialized Lyceum named after S.A. Khodzhikov.
The EGMO (European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad) was first organized in 2012 in Cambridge (UK). Kazakhstan has been participating in this competition since 2017. Over the eight years of participation, the Kazakh national team won 3 gold, 9 silver, 11 bronze medals, 4 certificates of honor.
Enlightenment Ministry of Kazakhstan expressed support for the participants of the national team, wishing them good luck and high results in the international arena.
