Kazakh President receives member of Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States

The Kazakh President received member of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Ikram Adyrbekov, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting discussed the issues of implementation of the main directions of the program "Turkic Era"("TURKTIME!"), which Kazakhstan presented as chair at the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States in November last year.

The Head of State pointed out the need to strengthen relations between the Turkic-speaking states in the cultural, spiritual, historical, political and economic spheres. In his opinion, special attention should be paid to the opening of university branches, joint scientific research, the promotion of common values, as well as the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors of the economy, such as finance, artificial intelligence, IT and the aerospace industry.

In his turn, Ikram Adyrbekov spoke about the measures on the development of Turkestan as the spiritual capital of the Turkic world and a city that has played a special role in the history of all Turkic peoples.

The President expressed confidence that the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States will make a significant contribution to increasing the effectiveness of cooperation between the fraternal countries.
