Kazakh President receives credentials from foreign ambassadors
The ceremony of presenting credential letters to the President of Kazakhstan by the newly appointed Ambassadors of nine states held at the Akorda presidential palace, El.kz reports.
The credentials were presented by the Republic of Cyprus (Petros Nacouzis), Japan (Yasumasa Iijima), China (Han Chunlin), Austria (Andrea Bacher), Burkina Faso (Aristide Rapugdondba Ludovic Tapsoba), Laos (Siphandon Oibuabuddi), New Zealand (Mark Trainor), Kingdom of Denmark (Jesper Vahr), and Slovenia (Alenka Suhadolnik).
Addressing the ambassadors, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan adheres to a peaceful foreign policy aimed at strengthening peace and security both at the regional and global levels. The President stressed that Kazakhstan is a key player in international relations, regularly hosting major international events and advocating open economic cooperation.
The Head of State also stressed that Kazakhstan is actively attracting investments from different countries, creating favorable conditions for foreign partners.
At the end of the ceremony, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the diplomats on the beginning of their mission and conveyed warm wishes to the leaders of their states.
