The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which provides for cooperation in the field of aviation training. This cooperation is aimed at supporting the development of the aviation sector in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports citing to the Civil Aviation Committee under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the Committee, the purpose of cooperation is to organize specialized educational programs for aviation specialists from Kazakhstan. These programs will be implemented by the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), which is the educational arm of CAAS, and will be available to civil aviation professionals from both Kazakhstan and European countries.

The training will include courses on aviation security and aviation management. It is expected that this training will help Kazakhstan train a new generation of aviation professionals, which contributes to increasing the capacity of the country's airlines and airports, as well as turning Kazakhstan into a key transport and logistics hub in Central Asia.

Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Han Kok Juana expressed his opinion on the signing of the memorandum of understanding, noting it as a significant step in strengthening ties between Singapore and Kazakhstan in the field of civil aviation.

"CAAS appreciates AAK's trust and confidence in the training programs offered by SAA. CAAS is deeply committed to supporting the development of the next generation of aviation professionals. In the next phase of SAA's development, we will provide more training in the region outside of Singapore through partnerships with other states. This will expand the scope of SAA's activities and allow more people to benefit from our training programs," Juana said.

AAK's Director General Katalin Radu expressed his opinion on the importance of cooperation with CAAS. "The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between AAK and CAAS is of particular importance in Kazakhstan's cooperation with one of the leading aviation organizations in the world. As a graduate of the Singapore Aviation Academy, I have witnessed the strong impact CAAS has had on shaping the future of aviation professionals around the world.
