Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population meets with UNICEF representative in Kazakhstan

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova held a meeting with the Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Kazakhstan Leticia Bazzi-Vale. During the dialogue, the parties discussed the results of joint work and prospects for possible further cooperation between the department and the international organization, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Svetlana Zhakupova expressed gratitude to UNICEF for its support in the implementation of various projects aimed at improving the effectiveness of social work, developing various support measures for certain categories of the population, etc.

In turn, Leticia Bazzy-Weil praised the effectiveness of the ongoing joint work, and also presented a number of new proposals in various areas, including the development of a micromodeling tool for assessing the impact of fiscal and social policies on the quality of life.

The parties also discussed the ongoing work within the framework of the Program of Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and UNICEF for 2021-2025.
