Kazakh men's ice hockey team wins gold at 2025 Asian Winter Games

The men's hockey team of Kazakhstan won the gold medal  at the 2025 Asian Winter Games. In the final, the team defeated the Japanese national team with a score of 5:0, El.kz reports citing the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

This is the national team's fourth gold at  Asian Winter Games. Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabosynov congratulated the athletes on their victory.

"Kazakh hockey players traditionally show high results at the Asian Games, and this year team once again proved its strength. I sincerely congratulate our hockey players on another anniversary victory!" the minister said.
