Kazakh Government allocates 576 mln tenge for bathymetry to predict floods

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov signed a decree on the allocation of 576 million tenge for bathymetric studies in flood-prone areas of northern, western and central Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.
The funds will be sent to the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation for the purchase of the necessary equipment.
The collected data will be transferred to the Ministry of Digital Development and JSC "National company "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary" for integration into the flood forecasting and modeling system.
