The "Business Connections" tool is provided to managers of SMEs working in priority sectors of the economy within the framework of the Program. This tool involves two steps.
The first stage is held in Kazakhstan. At this stage, heads of SMEs improve their skills by participating in business trainings. These trainings cover modern methods of entrepreneurship, marketing and establishing business contacts with business partners. During the training, the participants of the tool develop business plans for their enterprises under the guidance of foreign and domestic business trainers.
After completing the business trainings, the participants of the tool independently improve their business plans, applying the knowledge gained, and have the opportunity to take part in the competitive selection for the second stage "Establishing business relations with foreign partners."
The second stage includes a thematic business internship abroad. Participants of the tool are sent for internships in foreign enterprises of a similar profile, where they establish business relations with foreign partners.
