Kazakh Deputy PM takes part in World Government Summit in the UAE
Deputy Prime minister, Chief of Staff of the Government Galymzhan Koishybayev took part in the World Government Summit held in Dubai, UAE, El.kz reports citing primeminister.kz.
Within the framework of the summit, Galymzhan Koishybayev spoke at the thematic session "Driving Progress: Effective Public Administration in the Formation of Sustainable Countries", where he emphasized the key role of digital transformation in the development of state institutions.
Kazakhstan's experience has shown that digital transformation is a key factor in the modernization of public administration. Today, we are witnessing a technological revolution that encompasses advanced software developments, artificial intelligence, immersive technologies, quantum computing, robotics and bioengineering," he said.
During the visit, Galymzhan Koishybayev held talks with the Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the UAE Government Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi. The current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the previously signed memorandum of cooperation in the development and modernization of public administration, within the framework of which the Office of the Government of Kazakhstan interacts with the UAE Government Experience Exchange Office.
Since the beginning of cooperation, dozens of Kazakh civil servants have been trained in best management practices. Work is underway to develop human potential, digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence, increase competitiveness, etc.
International cooperation within the framework of such platforms contributes to the strengthening of interstate relations and the promotion of Kazakhstan's solutions at the global level. In 2024, the Kazakh project "Digital Family Map" was recognized as the best in the category "Inclusive Digital Transformation" among 1300 applications at the World Government Summit in the UAE.
The event was attended by heads of government of various countries, representatives of international organizations, leading experts in the field of public administration, as well as delegations from more than 100 countries.
