Kazakh artists present national art at Asian parade

From February 7 to 9, Singapore hosted the annual national "Chingay" parade dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the country's independence. The Astana Opera took part in this grand event, presenting a unique program that combines vocal and choreographic art, El.kz reports citing  the press service of the theater.

The performance of the theater artists was organized with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Singapore, which opened up new prospects for international cooperation and the promotion of Kazakh culture on the world stage.

Chingay Parade is traditionally considered one of the most spectacular events in Southeast Asia, annually gathering thousands of participants and millions of spectators around the world. The artists of the Astana Opera brought the flavor of national art to the atmosphere of the holiday, presenting a bright performance to the audience.

As well as the creative delegation of the Astana Opera took part in the cultural events organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Singapore.
