Kazakh and Russian Presidents talked over phone

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin talked over the phone,El.kz cites Akorda.

The two leaders discussed current state and prospects of Kazakh-Russian cooperation.

The presidents noted the need for full implementation of agreements reached earlier in trade-economic and energy spheres and agreed to ensure high-quality preparation for the state visit of Vladimir Putin to Astana.

The heads of state exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude for the invitation to participate in the BRICS summit in Kazan.
