Kazakh Ambassador Holds Meeting with the President of Ethiopia
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia and Kenya (concurrently), Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the African Union, Barlybay Sadykov, held a meeting with the President of Ethiopia, Taye Atske-Selassie, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the development of political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, as well as collaboration within international organizations. Prospects for the implementation of projects aimed at deepening mutually beneficial partnership were also considered.
President Atske-Selassie highly appreciated Kazakhstan’s initiatives in organizing the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the Astana International Forum, confirming Ethiopia’s participation in these significant events.
The head of Ethiopia emphasized the importance of achieving unity and harmony amid the complex geopolitical situation in the world, highlighting Kazakhstan’s significant contribution to promoting dialogue between cultures and religions and seeking solutions to the challenges facing the global community.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the further development of the partnership between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia, as well as in the successful implementation of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening peace, stability and sustainable development.
