Kazaeronavigatsia Professional Training Cente recognized as one of leading aviation training centers in world

The Kazaeronavigatsia Professional Training Center received the highest PLATINUM status at the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium, confirming its leadership in the training of aviation personnel, El.kz reports.
On February 11, 2025, the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As part of the event, Secretary General of ICAO Carlos Salazar presented the Director of Kazaeronavigatsia Professional Training Center Zhanat Urtembayeva with a badge of honor confirming the receipt of PLATINUM status. This status is the highest award under ICAO's TRAINAIR PLUS programme and is awarded only to the world's leading training organisations.
To achieve PLATINUM under the ICAO programme, a training centre must earn at least 100 mandatory miles each year. These points are awarded for conducting standardized courses approved by an international aviation organization. At the end of 2024, the Kazaeronavigatsia Center earned 116 mandatory miles, which allowed it to become one of the leaders.
The TRAINAIR PLUS program is a global corporate community of aviation training centers that standardizes the training of civil aviation specialists. Participants of the program develop and conduct courses according to uniform international standards, undergo technical expertise and are under strict quality control. Currently, the community consists of 120 members, including higher education institutions and international organizations.
Obtaining PLATINUM status testifies to the leading role of the training center in the region and the world. Currently, the Kazaeronavigatsia Support Center has not only ICAO-certified training program developers, but also professional instructors, as well as validators of the ICAO methodology.
To date, 36 highly qualified specialists work at the Professional Training Center, including 18 instructors of theoretical and simulator training and 6 operators of the dispatcher simulator. They are in charge of 67 training programs, which are provided to both domestic civil aviation organizations and foreign customers.
