Kassym-Jomart Tokayev meets with Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan

The Head of State received the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliyev, El.kz reports citing  Akorda.

The meeting discussed issues of comprehensive deepening of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that his first official visit to Astana is important for further strengthening the ties of friendship and alliance between the two fraternal people.

According to the President, one of the main tasks of the governments is to control the full implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level. In particular, it is necessary to find new opportunities to expand the volume of trade, promote the early launch of the on building an industrial trade and logistics complex, as well as create favorable conditions for transit and transport links.

In his turn, Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude for the hospitality provided to the Kyrgyz delegation on Kazakh soil and conveyed best wishes from the Head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.

Thanks to the agreements reached during the summits, cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the political, trade, economic, water and energy, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres is strengthening, said Kasymaliev.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the implementation of joint investment projects and cooperation in the water and energy sector.
