Head of State receives newly appointed Ambassador of China

The President of Kazakhstan stressed the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership with China, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Kazakhstan, Han Chunlin. The President noted that Kazakhstan pays priority attention to the further development of a comprehensive strategic partnership with China.

During the meeting, President expressed readiness to give an additional impetus to joint initiatives, stressing the importance of deepening cooperation.

Ambassador Han Chunlin conveyed greetings and best wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping, noting that thanks to the active dialogue at the highest level, the strategic partnership has reached an unprecedented level.

The sides discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, including prospects in trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
