IT hub opened in Shymkent

Gabit Syzdykbekov, Akim of Shymkent city and Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev took part in the opening of the regional technopark "Shymkent Hub",El.kz reports with reference to the city akimat.

The main goal of this center is to promote technological entrepreneurship, the formation of a startup culture, the development of the IT industry and digital education.

As part of the opening, an exhibition of IT startups, IT companies, robotics schools and private IT schools - participants in the Tech Orda program, as well as innovative projects of the city of Shymkent was held.

Shymkent Hub will become a platform for the implementation of educational programs of Astana Hub. Various events will be held on its territory to contribute to the formation of an active IT community.

In the process of developing startup projects, participants will be taught the basics of entrepreneurship, support in attracting investments, financial accounting and other necessary skills.
