Issues of developing and strengthening Kazakh-Moldоvan relations discussed in Parliament of Moldova

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Almat Aidarbekov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Moldova Mihai Popsoі.

During the meeting a comprehensive exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects of the development of Kazakh-Moldovan relations in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, El.kz cites MFA.

The parties discussed Kazakhstani projects being implemented in Moldova in the field of transport and energy, as well as agricultural sector. The importance of increasing investment cooperation was emphasized.

The Kazakh diplomat briefed about the preparations for the next meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, scheduled in Astana in 2024.

The Vice Speaker, who is a member of the parliamentary group for cooperation with Kazakhstan, expressed interest in intensifying inter-parliamentary relations between our countries.

Ambassador Aidarbekov also informed the Vice Speaker on the reforms in our country in the political and socio-economic spheres within the concept of “Just Kazakhstan”.

During the conversation the sides addressed a number of current issues on the international and regional agenda.
