International mini-football tournament among children held in Kokshetau
Kokshetau hosted the First International Children's and Youth Mini-Football Tournament among Children born in 2009-2010 for the prizes of the Akim of Akmola region. Young football players from three countries met on the field, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of Akmola region.
At the opening, the participants of the tournament, and these are 12 teams from the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
"Football is the number one sport in the world, which has no restrictions on any grounds. It is a great honor for us to introduce our youth to sports, which will represent our country in large arenas. And this tournament is part of that work. Our future is you, today's youth. I hope that the holding of such events will give a positive impetus to the development of football in the region, ensuring both the mass nature of football among children and youth, and the preparation of a sports reserve for the National Teams of the Republic.
