Industrial zone of Turkestan expanded to 350 hectares
In Turkestan, in 2023-2025, it is planned to implement four projects with the creation of 169 new jobs. These are projects for the manufacture of reinforced concrete products, doors made of iron and wood, the production of asphalt concrete. Their total cost is 3 billion tenge, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of the Turkestan region
The location of the spiritual capital along the international road "Western Europe - Western China" and the availability of established air and rail links provide opportunities for the development of industry. Taking into account these features, a special economic zone was created in the regional center. Now there are 27 projects for 1330 jobs. Their total cost is 13.01 billion tenge. Of these, commissioning acts were received for 19 projects worth 8.564 billion tenge.
In 2022, three projects were launched to fulfill the planned indicator, thanks to which 54 jobs were created in the manufacturing industry.
Currently, in order to provide infrastructure for investment projects in the field of industry, the industrial zone has been increased to 350 hectares, and infrastructure is being formed. During the implementation of the projects, work was organized to support access to the necessary funds within the framework of the economy of simple things program.
In the regional center, measures to attract investors for the development of industry have intensified. The bodies serving investors are concentrated in the "Government for Business" center and work on the principle of a single window.
