Kazakh historian Zhaksylyk Sabitov spoke about the results of the genetic analysis of the Hungarian king Samuel Aba. The monarch confirmed his Turkic roots, El.kz reports .

King Samuel Aba, who ruled in the 11th century, was from this dynasty. There are several versions of their origin. From the Kipchaks-Kumans, from Attila and from the Turks-kabars," Zhaksylyk Sabitov notes.

The results of the DNA analysis showed that in the veins of the king flowed blood close to the Turkic populations (Xiongnu, Chuvash, medieval Avars, Karakalpaks, Kandekli, etc.), including 95 percent of the Yakuts.

As the historian notes, Aba is the second dynasty of Hungarian kings after the Árpáds, with Turkic roots.
