The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Mozambique, and the United Republic of Tanzania concurrently, Yerkin Akhinzhanov, and prominent Tanzanian businessman Ameir Munif Abdallah Nahdi have officially inaugurated the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Dar es Salaam, one of Tanzania’s largest cities, El.kz cites Kazakh FM.

The ceremony was attended by Kazakhstan citizens residing in Tanzania, as well as representatives from government agencies, the business community, and the media.

Amier Nahdi, who has been appointed Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan, expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh Government for its trust and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both nations.

Ambassador Akhinzhanov also met with Gilead Teri, Executive Director of the Tanzania Investment Centre, a government agency under the President’s Office. Their discussions focused on investment and trade cooperation, the development of transport links, and the organization of a Tanzanian business mission to Kazakhstan to facilitate a practical exchange of expertise.

These events mark an important step in strengthening ties between Kazakhstan and Tanzania, opening up new opportunities for bilateral collaboration across various sectors and expanding Kazakhstan’s presence on the African continent.
