Heads of government of EAEU discuss support for agro-industrial complex
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov took part in Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in narrow format in Almaty, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Kazakh government.
The meeting was attended by the heads of government of EAEU member states Roman Golovchenko of Belarus, Adylbek Kasymalievof the Kyrgyz Republic, Mikhail Mishustin of Russia, deputy PM of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Chairman of the EEC Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
Olzhas Bektenov noted the importance of international dialogue at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and expressed confidence that the decisions taken would give a new impetus to the development of integration processes.
In turn, the Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko stressed that the EAEU countries are linked by close economic relations and large-scale trade turnover.
The mechanism to support the implementation of joint projects in the agro-industrial complex aimed at improving the sustainability of production and innovative development with a focus on breeding, seed production, livestock farming, agricultural processing, agro-industrial complex were discussed.
