Head of the International Olympic Committee congratulates Gennady Golovkin on his election to new position

The head of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, congratulated Gennady Golovkin on his election as president of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the NOC.

"My most sincere congratulations to you on your election as President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 26, 2024 and wish you good luck in this post.

The IOC looks forward to continued fruitful cooperation with NOC and remains fully at your disposal to continue to support and assist your NOC in carrying out its mission and daily activities for the benefit of the Olympic Movement and the athletes of Kazakhstan.

We look forward to meeting you soon at the Olympic House in Lausanne," IOC President Thomas Bach said in an official letter.
