Head of State receives Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic Jan Lipavský

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Minister of Foreign Affairs  of Czech Republic Jan Lipavský, El.kz cites Akorda.

The Head of State expressed confidence that the minister's visit would give an additional impetus to strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the countries. According to him, Kazakhstan is committed to close cooperation with the Czech Republic, which it considers as one of the important partners in the European Union.

The President emphasised the existing potential for further development of trade and investment ties, expressing our country's readiness to continue providing support to Czech investors.

Jan Lipavský thanked the Head of State for the opportunity to meet and conveyed to him the invitation of Czech President Petr Pavel to pay an official visit to Prague.

The Czech Foreign Minister stressed that growing economic contacts are the basis of Kazakh-Czech cooperation. Among the priority areas of joint work, Jan Lipavský named the spheres of industry, green transition, and energy.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Jan Lipavský also exchanged views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda.

At the end of the conversation, the Head of State conveyed his best wishes to President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.
