President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev, El.kz reports.
Country’s Energy Minister presented a report on the development of the country's fuel and energy complex for the first half of 2024
Almasadam Satkaliyev said that during the period, 44.7 mln tons of oil were produced, 6.78 mln tons of oil products were produced, 30.1 bln m3. of gas were produced and 60.4 bln kWh of electricity was generated.
The Minister informed the President about the Ministry's plans to implement major investment projects aimed at ensuring stable energy and heat supply to consumers, as well as measures to develop renewable energy sources.
Following the meeting, the President instructed to prepare for the heating season and provide the domestic market with oil products.
