Government to be provided with results of audit of power plants
At the end of April, the Ministry of Energy will present the results of the technical audit of power plants. A financial report is formed and materials on further actions are prepared. Today, at a government meeting, Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev spoke about the passage of the heating season, El.kz reports.
"The rating is based on such indicators as wear, operating time of the main equipment, specific indicators of fuel consumption, staffing, efficiency, technological violations and the implementation of repair programs. KPMG India's international consultants visited all power plants. Currently, a financial report is being formed and materials are being prepared for further actions," the head of the Ministry of Energy said.
According to these criteria, power plants are divided by rating.
"For all 37 CHPPs, together with akimats, roadmaps are being formed to prepare for the upcoming heating season, which will be under the control of the ministry. Let me report in more detail on the work done in the second half of April," he addressed the Prime Minister.
