Giant moss agate presented at exhibition in Karaganda

EcoMuseum of Karaganda region opened an exhibition of the club of stone lovers "Ashirit". The exposition is timed to the Day of the Geologist, which is traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday of April,  El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of the Karaganda region.

Visitors had a chance to see unique exhibits from private collections, to appreciate the natural splendor of the earth.

The chairman of the club "Ashirit" Alma Zhumagaliyeva believes in the energy of each stone. And at the exhibition there are hundreds of rare items from all over the world.

Many of them were collected in mines and in the steppes of Central Kazakhstan, in particular in the Karaganda region.

The highlight of the exposition is a block of moss agate. It was discovered a few years ago around Bekpakdala.
