French President Emmanuel Macron arrives in Kazakhstan

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron  at the Airport of Astana, El.kz cites reports.

During the conversation, Kazakh PM Smailov expressed confidence that the French President’s visit will give a new impetus to further development of the strategic partnership between Astana and Paris.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting is planned between the leaders of the two countries: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Emmanuel Macron. During the talks, it is expected to discuss issues of strengthening trade, economic, investment and energy ties. Also on the agenda are key topics of international and regional politics.
