Financial Monitoring Agency delegation visited the Ministry of Finance of Georgia

The delegation of the Financial Monitoring Agency headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Agency Zhenis Elemesov visited the investigation service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting in Tbilisi, representatives of the Agency were acquainted with the activities of the Investigation Service of the host country, existing problems and the results of cooperation achieved last year.

The head of the Investigation Service Soso Ramishvili and the heads of other departments acquainted colleagues from the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the mandate of the Investigation Service, the prospects for the development of analytical activities. They also shared their experience in employing and training current employees of the Investigation Service, investigating criminal cases related to financial pyramids.

During the meeting, the need for constant innovation was noted in order to minimize the negative consequences of financial crimes for the economies of the two states.

The parties noted the expediency of signing a Memorandum of Partnership and Mutual Cooperation for further joint work in specific areas.
