ETHNO-FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE ‘SARMAD’: MELODY OF THE GREAT STEPPE

In all regions of the country the charitable action of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan "Caravan of Mercy" based on the traditions of the Great steppe was launched.

Within the framework of this action, active members of club "Elsana" of Atyrau area should be mentioned. They are winners of the international competitions and soloists of ethno-folklore ensemble "Sarmad".

Today the ethno-folklore ensemble "Sarmad" admires listeners with their talent in many regions of Kazakhstan, perfectly play such ancient national instruments of the Kazakh people, as adyrna, zhetygen, qylkobyz. Artistic director of the ensemble, Bauyrzhan Aktayev plays the dombra, members of the ensemble Aytolkin Yerzhanova  plays the adyrna, Zinor Nurai plays the zhetygen and Ruslan Sultangaliyev plays the percussion instruments.
