Dimash Kudaibergen shows gift from Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

Famous Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen posted on his Instagram page about a precious gift. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave Dimash a dog of the Kazakh breed Tazy. Dimash named his new friend Garyshker, El.kz reports.

- Dears, this is my new friend. This miracle of nature, that is, the Tazy puppy, was given to me by Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich.

Tazy is a value for our nation, one of the "seven treasures" left by our ancestors. I am glad that at present Kazakhstan pays great attention to the preservation and international recognition of the tazy.

Because this breed is distinguished by its characteristic beauty, restraint and, according to my observations, is very intelligent. Our ancestors revered and loved tazy. This dog could freely enter the yurt, which meant its cleanliness.

The name "tazi" comes from a Persian word that means "fast", "dexterous".
