Shakir Khakhazov, a member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the sixth convocation, elected by the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, a member of the Finance and Budget Committee, arrived in Karaganda region on a working trip.
During the visit, the deputy got acquainted with the socio-economic situation in Karaganda Region and adjacent areas. Shakir Khakhazov was accompanied by Deputy Mayor of Karaganda Riza Mukeyeva and representative of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Karaganda region, director of "Kogamdyk Kelisim" MPI Yerlan Kusaiyn.
Shakir Khakhazov visited transport and logistics complex "Global City", which is one of the largest in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The complex includes 8 infrastructure facilities three warehouses - climatic, dry and temporary, i.e. customs storage, two cross-docks, where simultaneous trade can be carried out from 164 trucks, customs clearance zone, container site and shopping center. It should be noted that this is one of the major projects supported by the state program "Business Road Map", about 2 thousand people will be provided with permanent jobs here. The opening of the complex is scheduled for March this year.
The deputy noted that the Business Road Map program has proved its efficiency over the years of its implementation. Moreover, State of the Nation Address "Growing welfare of Kazakhstanis: increasing income and quality of life" dated October 5, 2018, Elbasy noted the need to extend the program until 2025.
The next object of visit of the deputy was Karaganda Foundry and Machine Building Plant of Maker LLP. Zhanibek Baigabelov told about production, implemented technologies, current moments and prospects. The company, which is part of "Kazakhmys Holding" LLP, produces mining equipment and performs its repair, as well as produces equipment for refineries, smelters, transport equipment and spare parts for them.
The program also included a visit to Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex LLP and acquaintance with its activities. Here, the delegation was accompanied by Executive Director Erikbek Agatanov. He told that in 2018, under fulfilling the obligations in long-term supply agreements, the pharmaceutical company made its first shipments of biotechnological preparations to medical organizations, which were earlier imported from abroad.
As a result of localization of production, it was possible to reduce the cost of drugs and, accordingly, prices by 30%, which also led to budget savings and increased access of the population to expensive vital medicines against cancer. They also visited the center of the plant - the production, where the medicines are actually produced. The delegation was able to get acquainted with the implemented international standard of good manufacturing practice GMP. The production facility is equipped with the equipment of leading European manufacturers, which allows to produce drugs in vials, cartridges, pre-filled syringes with the capacity of up to 4 million packages per year.
Shakir Khahasov emphasized his readiness for proposals, to support and tell what new draft laws are adopted, to answer questions of residents and employees of the enterprises.
Under the working visit, a meeting with the regional mayor Zhenis Kassymbek was also held. Zhenis Makhmudovich briefly spoke about the achievements of the region. One of the questions sounded during the meeting was high tariff for public utilities of owners of farms, quality of roads.
It should be noted that Shakir Khakhazov plans to visit cities of Abay, Shakhtinsk and Temirtau by January 15.
