Days of Kazakh Cinema kicks off in Karaganda
The Days of Kazakh Cinema have started in Karaganda, where viewers can get acquainted with films created with the support of the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information and the State Center for Support of National Cinema, El.kz reports.
The event, dedicated to the promotion of national cinema, covers not only large cities, but also small settlements, allowing residents of rural areas to enjoy the modern works of Kazakh directors.
Particular attention is paid to the demonstration of works reflecting the cultural wealth of the country and current social topics.
The organizers hope that the initiative will become an effective tool for popularizing Kazakh cinema and drawing attention to domestic films, because this year the premiere of more than ten new projects is expected.
