COLLECTING AID TO ARYS RESIDENTS: KAZAKHSTAN IS ONE FAMILY

Due to the tragic events in the city of Arys, Turkestan region, Mothers Council of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan launched the republican action "Children of Arys" on June 28.

Events with participation of members of the Council of Mothers, youth and representatives of ethno-cultural associations of assemblies were held in all regions.

At the meetings of the Councils of Mothers, a call for assistance in the restoration of houses, kindergartens, schools, preparation of children of Arys for the new school year was made.

In each region, assistance to children in the form of food, clothing, toys, personal care products, school supplies and money was collected. In addition, Kazakhstanis took part in helping the residents of Arys and transferred a one-day salary to the account of the corporate social development fund "Тurkistan".

As Head of the Secretariat of the Akmola Regional Assembly M. Tokhayev noted, these days the whole country extends a helping hand to the affected residents of Arys in Turkestan region.

"It is our Kazakhstani character to be with those who need it most, not to leave alone with trouble. This action is another piece of good gesture for the children of Arys. We hope that the warmth of our hearts and our fervent desire to help will give strength and hope to all those who found themselves in a difficult life situation," Head of Akmola regional APK said.

Charity actions in support of the needy were held in the republic, money, things, footwear, foodstuffs, goods of prime necessity were collected.

The humanitarian aid of APK’s structures in all regions to date amounted to about 70 million tenge.

APK’s Council of Mothers in Almaty region collected 801 thousand tenge, in Karaganda region - 1 284 500 tenge, in Kyzylorda region - 135 thousand tenge, in Mangistau region - 1,425 million tenge, in Turkestan region - 698 thousand tenge.

At the same time, in July excursions to the West Kazakhstan region and Nur-Sultan will be organized for children from Arys.

In WKR in the period from July 10 to July 17, 50 children will come to have rest in camps, and the capital will send 500 children of Arys to rest in summer camp, and 1000 children on summer rest will be accepted by L. Gumilyov Eurasian National university.
