Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of Kazakhstan participates in international meetings in Singapore

Singapore hosted the Global Public Administration Leaders Forum and the Global Government Summit, bringing together government officials from Singapore, Canada, the United Kingdom, Estonia, Mongolia and other countries,El.kz reports.

Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Zhazykbai presented Kazakhstan's experience in the digital transformation of public administration, attracting talent and creating a hybrid model of civil service.

Darkhan Zhazykbay spoke about the introduction of digital selection systems, recruiting methods and approaches to increasing human resources. Kazakhstan's experience aroused the interest of the forum participants, especially in terms of attracting talented youth and digitalizing processes.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Civil Service Agency held bilateral meetings with the Head of the Civil Service of Singapore Leo Yip, representatives of the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. Following the meetings, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the National University of Singapore, providing for the exchange of experience, training courses for civil servants and cooperation with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

In addition, negotiations were held with the heads of civil services of Great Britain, Estonia and Mongolia. The participants agreed to exchange experience in the field of digitalization and development of the civil service.

Darkhan Zhazykbay stressed the importance of such meetings for improving the competencies of civil servants and introducing international practices aimed at improving the quality of public administration.
