Chairman of Board of Baiterek Holding met with a delegation from Zimbabwe

Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC Rustam Karagoishin met with David Kudakwashe Mnangagwa the Deputy Minister of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion of Zimbabwe,El.kz reports.

The delegation showed particular interest in the Kazakh model of financial sector development and considered it as an example for creating its own international financial center. Zimbabwe plans to use Kazakhstan's experience in the field of finance for its economic growth.

The meeting was also attended by the Marc Holtzman , chairperson of the Victoria Falls Offshore Centre and the CEO of this center Justin Bgoni. They noted their readiness to establish long-term cooperation with Kazakhstan for the development of financial infrastructure.

Rustam Karagoishin said that Baiterek Holding is ready to share its experience and support Zimbabwe in creating a financial infrastructure. For his part, Mr. Mnangagwa stressed the importance of Kazakhstan's system of support for entrepreneurship and sustainable development in non-resource sectors.

The meeting ended with a discussion of the prospects for further cooperation between Kazakhstan and Zimbabwe in the field of finance and investment.
