Cellular mobile pricing risen in Kazakhstan

According to the latest analysis provided by analysts of the First Credit Bureau, prices for mobile communication services in Kazakhstan have increased significantly, showing the highest growth rate in the last 13 years, El.kz reports.

Over the past month, there has been a 6.2% increase in value. This is a continuation of the trend of rising prices that began in July and August last year, when prices rose by 2.8% each month. The last time a decrease in the cost of cellular communication was recorded in February 2018.

It should be noted that the annual increase in prices for cellular services in February amounted to 12.4%, which is the maximum figure for the period under review. Until last summer, price growth was relatively moderate.

At the same time, the subscription fee for mobile Internet increased slightly — by only 0.2%.
