Book on Kazakhstan’s animation presented in Astana

A presentation of the monograph “When Fairy Tales Come to Life”  by Baurzhan Nugerbek took place in the capital, El.kz news agency reports.

The book is the comprehensive study of Kazakh animation as a new art form.

Bauyrzhan Nogerbek explores the processes of formation and development of Kazakh animation from its origins, analyzes key films and artistic experiments, emphasizing the significant role of animation in rethinking Kazakh folklore, traditions and cultural identity.
