Astana International University to provide grants for master's programs to authors of innovative projects
President of Astana International University Irsaliev Serik announced the launch of grants for master's degree programs for the creators of innovative projects in the field of space and advanced technologies, El.kz reports citing the Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The initiative was presented as part of the Digital Almaty 2025 forum and is aimed at supporting talented scientists and startups who seek to contribute to the development of science and technology in Kazakhstan.
According to Irsaliev, grants are not only an opportunity for free education, but also a full-fledged platform for the implementation of ambitious ideas.
"We offer not just funding for training, but also technical, scientific support, access to advanced laboratories and equipment for creating satellites and analyzing data. Our goal is to accompany projects from idea to implementation, helping authors to make dreams come true," said the AIU President.
The university is actively developing the Industry 4.0 R&D center, where technologies of the future are created - from digital twins and smart cities to nanosatellites. As part of the program, young scientists will have access to acceleration programs, international expertise and modern equipment, which will open up new horizons for them in science and technology.
Grant holders will be able to work in innovation laboratories, develop nanosatellites, introduce artificial intelligence technologies and develop additive manufacturing.
