A meeting with the public was held within the framework of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Day in Rozovka under Pavlodar, which ended with an extensive concert program of the creative teams of Kogamdyk Kelisim MPI of the Mayor’s office of Pavlodar region.

Residents of Rozovka village from Pavlodar greeted the guests with traditional Kazakh ritual of shashu. A bright exhibition of applied art was organized in the foyer of the House of Friendship.

The event was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack Organizations in Kazakhstan. The Association of Russian, Slavic Cossack Organizations" has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1999 and counts more than forty primary independent Slavic public associations, which are actively involved in public work in 14 regions of our country.

The activities of this Association are aimed at preserving the culture, language and identity of the Slavs, strengthening inter-ethnic accord and well-being of all ethnic minorities living in Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the event a round table was held, where the activities of the district ethnocultural centers were discussed and their achievements and experience were shared.

Assembly’s Day Marked in Rozovka Village Under Pavlodar

It is worth noting that the creative teams of district ethnocultural centers annually become winners of many festivals and contests, becoming recognized and loved among the residents of Pavlodar region.

To date, 10 branches of regional ethno-cultural associations are working in the district. Among them are Belarusian, Chechen-Ingush, Tatar-Bashkir, Ukrainian, German, Slavic, Kabardino-Balkarian, Uzbek, Korean ones.
